Many of my earlier works, printed on photograpy paper, matted and framed are on exhibit in my latest solo exhibit "Photographs By Phoenix" at the new Parkland Library, 6620 N University Dr, Parkland, FL. Most of the 25 works on display are limited edition pieces being offered at special prices. The show includes birds, wildlife, lanscapes, waterscapes, sunrise/sunset, Everglades and even a favorite piece taken in Ireland. It also includes my first award-winning photograph, "Tree at Sunset," that happened to win 1st Place and inspired me to embrace my path as a conservation photographer. If you're local, would love to give you a personal tour. If any of these nature wonders speaks to you, please let me know and we can discuss how to get it to you. Thanks for viewing. info@photographsbyphoenix.com

In October 2021, 22 large fine art photographs were installed in the permanent collection at Cleveland Clinic Florida's Women's Center at their Weston location, 1825 N Corporate Lakes Blvd, Weston, FL 33326.
After considering a number of local South Florida artists, proceeds from a charitable donation were used to purchase the 22 large works from Phoenix. Phoenix is an award-winning, internationally collected nature and wildlife photographer. Each of the 22 fine art photographs measures 24 x 36 inches and is printed on metal. They are installed in two waiting rooms and four examination rooms. The works were selected from Phoenix’s “Sacred Trees,” “Landscapes” and “Winged Life” collections. “Reflecting the intersection of art and healing, Phoenix’s nature, fine art photographs transport viewers from the outside-in to a deep meditative place of peace and healing,” said Angelica Guckes, curator. Phoenix is passionate about nature photography and healing. “For me the importance of nature is far more than a scientific necessity for creating air, clean water and producing food. It is a sacred necessity for healing and bringing peace to the human soul. “It’s an honor to have my works as part of the Women’s Center at Cleveland Clinic and make a difference in women's lives, especially those who may be facing difficult times.” Top Images: Selected images installed in the two waiting rooms. "Montauk Point Lighthouse" is juried into the Las Laguna Art Galery in Laguna Beach, CA "Landscapes or Seascapes" Exhibit. Available 24 x 36 inches on metal. https://www.laslagunaartgallery.com/ Story behind the photo... While visiting a dear friend and collector a few years back in the Hamptons we decided to make a mini-trip visiting lighthouses. Standing between the boulders near the water's edge the waves were wild on this gray and foggy day at Montauk Point Lighthouse. Several people standing on the cliff above were yelling at me to move concerned I'd be hit by a rogue wave. It all ended well minus drenched boots that dried out for more adventures. "Grace" is in Broward Art Guild "Art in Motion" Exhibit. Free reception Saturday, March 5, 4:30 - 8:30pm. 3280 NE 32nd St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 24 x 36 inches on metal. Let me know if you'd like a custom size and/or substrate. In honor of Women's History Month the National League of American Pen Women - Fort Lauderdale Branch invted to exhibit at Fort Lauderdale City Hall for month of March. I selected two of my much loved pieces photographed during my Artist residency in lovely Ireland in honor of celebrating St Patrick's Day later this month.

As you probably already know, I'm passsionate about nature photography. For me the importance of nature is far more than a scientific necessity for creating air, clean water and producing food. It is a sacred necessity for healing and bringing peace to the human soul. Top Image: Selected images installed in the two waiting rooms. Bottom Image: Images installed in the four examination rooms.
