The Broward Art Guild is celebrating its 75th Anniversary Commemorative Gala at BACA (Baileys Contemporary Gallery) on January 15, 2026. I'm grateful to be part of this spectacular celebration of art, community and legacy. Previously, I served as three years as BAG's Vice President and Professional Development Chair.

About the "Starry Starry Night Over the Rockies," my piece juried into this exhibit: Hiking from about 11,800 feet in altitude to over 12,400 feet in temperatures approaching freezing with equally harsh winds, I experienced the Milky Way for the first time high above the Alpine Trail Road on the “Roof of the Rockies” at Rock Cut in Rocky Mountain National Park. Hiked there on two different night since the first time up there were snow flurries. This was quite an adventure for a zero elevation person.
