Just notified that "Inner Peace" received honorable mention in Broward Art Guild in Think Pink Exhibit. I titled this piece "Inner Peace" since that's exactly how I felt when I first saw this view. The light was falling fast and I was in my head with concerns about where I was going to spend the night. Driving back home from my artist residency at Great Smoky Mountains National Park I took a side trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains. I pulled over to a parking lot to make reservations and couldn't get reception. Then a family arrived. They told me where to go, made reservations and as a bonus recommended a wonderful restaurant. Forever grateful for the lesson and blessings of grace in the form of helpful people.

Honored to be supporting this worthy cause that makes such a difference for children in South Florida. Originally planned as a live auction gala event, with COVID it was switched to an online auction. Appreciate your support if you can. “Plunge into the Arts with Phoenix,” is a stunning exhibit that captures the soul of nature as seen through the eyes of acclaimed conservation photographer Phoenix. From the majesty and frailty of the Florida Everglades to the haunting beauty of Ireland, each fine art photograph inspires love and respect for our essential environment.

Now, her new solo exhibit of 18 photographs will be on display in the gallery located inside the Plunge Beach Resort’s lobby in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea. The exhibit runs from October 17 to November 20, 2021. A free opening reception and open house with the artist will take place on October 20, from 6 pm -7:30 pm, 4660 El Mar Drive, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, FL 33308.
