Top: "Rosie" 24"x36" on metal; Bottom: "Pretty in Pink" 16"x24" on metal Perhaps the most stunning exhibit I've ever hung. Saturday we installed the Annual Juried Exhibit of the National League of American Pen Women-Fort Lauderdale Branch featuring 58 artworks from 31 amazing women artists. I'm feeling tickled pink that both of my pieces were juried into this fine exhibit. On exhibit until end of April at the Anne Kolb Nature Center, 751 Sheridan Street, Hollywood, FL 33019. Let me know if you'd like to visit together.

Many of my earlier works, printed on photograpy paper, matted and framed are on exhibit in my latest solo exhibit "Photographs By Phoenix" at the new Parkland Library, 6620 N University Dr, Parkland, FL. Most of the 25 works on display are limited edition pieces being offered at special prices. The show includes birds, wildlife, lanscapes, waterscapes, sunrise/sunset, Everglades and even a favorite piece taken in Ireland. It also includes my first award-winning photograph, "Tree at Sunset," that happened to win 1st Place and inspired me to embrace my path as a conservation photographer. If you're local, would love to give you a personal tour. If any of these nature wonders speaks to you, please let me know and we can discuss how to get it to you. Thanks for viewing. info@photographsbyphoenix.com

"Montauk Point Lighthouse" is juried into the Las Laguna Art Galery in Laguna Beach, CA "Landscapes or Seascapes" Exhibit. Available 24 x 36 inches on metal. https://www.laslagunaartgallery.com/ Story behind the photo... While visiting a dear friend and collector a few years back in the Hamptons we decided to make a mini-trip visiting lighthouses. Standing between the boulders near the water's edge the waves were wild on this gray and foggy day at Montauk Point Lighthouse. Several people standing on the cliff above were yelling at me to move concerned I'd be hit by a rogue wave. It all ended well minus drenched boots that dried out for more adventures. "Grace" is in Broward Art Guild "Art in Motion" Exhibit. Free reception Saturday, March 5, 4:30 - 8:30pm. 3280 NE 32nd St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 24 x 36 inches on metal. Let me know if you'd like a custom size and/or substrate. In honor of Women's History Month the National League of American Pen Women - Fort Lauderdale Branch invted to exhibit at Fort Lauderdale City Hall for month of March. I selected two of my much loved pieces photographed during my Artist residency in lovely Ireland in honor of celebrating St Patrick's Day later this month.
City of Fort Lauderdale,, City Hall - lobby gallery 100 N Andrews, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 Honored that from all the amazing local artists, Cleveland Clinic selected my works for the Women's Center at their Weston location, 1825 N Corporate Lakes Blvd, Weston, FL 33326. Twenty-two pieces, measuring 24 x 36 inches, each were selected from the Sacred Trees, Landscapes and Winged Life collections.
My fine art photography was selected because it invites the viewer to be transported to the extraordinary beauty, peace and healing of nature. As you probably already know, I'm passsionate about nature photography. For me the importance of nature is far more than a scientific necessity for creating air, clean water and producing food. It is a sacred necessity for healing and bringing peace to the human soul. Top Image: Selected images installed in the two waiting rooms. Bottom Image: Images installed in the four examination rooms. Excited to share that several of my images in the growing National Parks Collection will be featured in the "America the Beautiful" solo exhibit at the Cleveland Clinic in Coral Springs. This is my first time exhbiting here. Honored to be invited and that my art brings the sense of peace and healing to so many. 5701 North University Drive, Coral Springs, Florida 33067

3280 NE 32nd Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 * 954-537-3370 Let me know if you'd like a private showing or more info, info@photographsbyphoenix.com. Story behind the photo...... They say the camera reflects both ways... the subject being photographed and the attitude and emotions of the photographer. I could only see beauty the day I was privileged to meet Louie at the Center for Great Apes, the only accredited orangutan sanctuary in North America, as well as feel love for the work to rescue other orangutans and apes from abuse and extinction. I was privileged to have a private tour of the Center along with two other photogs. As we entered the grounds several of the orangutans started throwing mud at me. All I could image was it was a greeting of some kind. Perhaps they were confused by our matching hair color. As we approached Louie's enclosure he started to run towards me. I had my lens right up against the enclosure. Then he seemed to "see" me. He paused. We connected. I clicked the shutter. An experience I will never forget and am forever grateful for. Grateful that "Everglades After Sunset," "Rosie," and "Double Vision" were juried into the ENDANGERED Fine Art & Photography Contest 2021. Online Exhibit runs through Nov 30th. Proceeds from this exhibit help support The Center for Great Apes, a 501 (c)(3), a sanctuary for orangutans and chimpanzees who have been rescued or retired from the entertainment industry, from research, from the exotic pet trade, or who are no longer wanted as pets where great apes need rescue and lifetime care. Excited to be exhibiting many loved works from the landscape, winged life and 12 x 12 collections in the National League of American Pen Women's current show at the Sugar Sand Park Community Center along with art works from some of south Florida's best women artists. With the holidays already starting, let me know if you see something that you love for yourself, loved one or friends. Show runs through December 7. 300 Military Trail Boca Raton, FL 33486
