"The City of Oakland Park Art & Culture Board are excited to present an exhibit of Oakland Park Directory Artists at the Oakland Park Library for the month of March. We will connect and celebrate with the Opening Reception on March 13th at 6:30PM. 
The City of Oakland Park Artist Directory is a group of creators with connection to Oakland Park and we are excited to give them the opportunity to show their creations for the month of March 2024 at the Oakland Park Library. We will be celebrating the opening of the exhibit with a reception on March 13th 2024 at 6:30PM at the library. Refreshments will be served; parking is free. Everyone is welcome.

Honored that two of my fine art photography pieces were juried into the National League of American Pen Women (Fort Lauderdale) All Media & Fine Art Exhibit. Thanks to jurist Jessica Ransom, Director of Artist Services, Palm Beach County, FL. Pictured above are "Early Morning Fog" 18x24 inches on acrylic and "Inch Beach" 24x36 inches on metal. 22nd Julia Margaret Cameron Award is a prestigious contest open only to women photographers worldwide. I am honored to announce that I was one of the few to win an honorable mention for the Landscape and Seascape Series Section. They only select Best in each category and honorable mentions. My works are on the right hand page, in order top row to bottom, left to right: Early Morning Fog, Summer Solstice, Blue Night Over Ballybunion, First Flight, Alaska Sunrise and Blazing Sunset Over Bosque. "Red Tree" was juried into the "Seeing Red" exhibit showing now at the Broward Art Guild, 3280 NE 32nd Street, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33308. During my Great Smoky Mountains National Park artist-in-residence I was driving up Rich Mountain Road, a serpentine dirt mountain road leaving Cades Cove, when I saw it. Stopped me in my tracks. Available 20x30 inches on metal and custom sizes and substrates. Let me know :) 

It's always fun for me to reflect back on which Facebook posts received the greatest number of "likes and loves". Mostly I deeply appreciate those who take a little extra time to share a comment on how the images touch them, inspire them, bring them peace, make them feel that they are right there with me as I capture the moment. Honored to have been selected as the 7th artist to have a solo exhibit at Las Olas Capital Arts. That was quite a night with some 200 guests. Founded by Jodi Paris Jeffreys Tanner, she is committed to recognizing and supporting talented local artists.
